I created this addtional site, 'the hub' to present my work in a more flexible and playful format. Beside bringing together my various work (both academic and whimsical) like drawings, photography, jewelry and textile, the front page is designed to accomodate sketches, current projects, notes in a less conventional form.
I called it - 'my daily canvas' - not sure if I will post daily, but hopefully weekly.

About me: I am originally from Romania, now living in Lansing, Michigan.

Although drawing is my primary medium, the great variety of techniques and materials I use in my work meet in a fortunate way on interesting prepared surfaces, exploring the great resources of mixed media.
